Fresh Water Angling

All events are Unisex Open.

Individual

Individual medals will be awarded in each category representing alocal species of freshwater fish selected by the Host. It is recommended that two (2) species be judged plus the “heaviest bag.” This may vary depending on the species of fresh water fish prevalent in the area. In a single species tournament (i.e., Bass Tournament) the heaviest fish plus the total weight of competitor’s bag/livewell (within legal limit or Host’s limit) is criteria for medals.

Team

2-Person Team medals will be awarded for “heaviest bag”. To be eligible to enter the Team event the competitor must also enter the Individual event. If a competitor does not have a partner, but wishes to enter the Team event, they may enter "pooling". (See WPFG General Rules)
